Okay. I don't really know how the Italians are gonna work yet (since obviously the Italians have to be in this, we are the bomb-digity and the original Cosa Nostra, bby. ) But I'll post my notes here for Feli's character for now. :Ua Because I'm still not sure how it's gonna work out, and I need Lovi's and the German's approval for this.
Emphasis on the NOTES part. These were just notes I made to myself (and half by talking it out with Ivan) when I was trying to develop Feli's character

- Feliciano – capo of cosca, Venezia, grandson of Rome, Capo of all mafia
Feliciano came from a mafia family, but was not always involved with the mafia. He was surrounded by death but tried his best to avoid it and ignore it, not wanting to be involved. However no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t avoid hearing the talk of his grandfather or hear the gunshots out on the streets—he had to witness his own mother and father blow up in a car bomb outside of their house, saw multiple uncles and friends of the family shot in the street where they stood; his Grandfather didn’t pressure him to join the mafia, but his Grandfather’s friends would pressure him and mock his grandfather for having such a useless grandson.
Parents – Err. :U Father was mafiosi, mother was daughter of mafiosi. Both dead, car bombing.
Tried to avoid it for a long time – didn’t talk about his family at school, stayed in a Catholic school dormitory, went away for college for his art, tried to distance himself from that world. But no matter how far he tried to go, was still followed—Grandfather’s influence was so far, would run into acquaintances, enemies, rival cosca, fights between families. Would still get pressured from other men of honor to join, bullied, sent death letters.
Was almost killed by an enemy of his Grandfathers in a power struggle – snapped. (Did he kill that guy, I dunno yet. :U )
Worked from the shadows, using Grandfather’s men to set out hits on rival families… :U Yeah. Uses foreigners as well that don’t have ties to families in Italy (I’m looking at you, Germans. ewe )
Reason Feli can be so cheery – spent most of his life trying to be the opposite of what he was supposed to be.
Feli has a split personality. One he developed trying to avoid the mafia, and one he developed from all the pressure to become a mafiosi.
The mafiosi personality would be stronger at this point, obviously, so it peeks out into his innocent personality as well.
He didn't want to deal with the mafia, even though his whole family was mafiosi. He was ridiculed by his cousins and his Grandfathers friends from not being a mafiosi or a real man of honor and all that stuff and going into painting and not the job he was born to do.
So the other personality developed as he had to take all that shit and always running away. So when someone from a rival cosca tried to kill him, that personality just snapped out as a defense mechanism so his other innocent side would stop getting hurt from the words and from the attacks.

- During the few months that Yao was gathering information and documents to escape from China, there was a family who often gave him food or a warm place to stay for the night. He felt guilty however, for the police were always putting suspicious areas under careful watch and should Yao have been caught, the family would be in serious danger. Not only were they providing sanctuary to a murderer, but for five years they had also been hiding their second child, Mei. The couple’s eldest daughter was away at a boarding school, Yao never met her. He was grateful for the couple’s kindness and hospitality; unlike the others he met on the street, the family welcomed him. Yao quickly became something of an older brother to Mei. For the first time, in a long time, he was truly happy. Sometimes he would wish things could have stayed that way, but change was bound to come. A trusted informant betrayed Yao, exposing his hideout to the police for a great sum. The police force colluded with the Public Security Bureau to attack the family in hopes of finding the criminal they were after. Only minutes later, the family and Yao knew they were coming. Loud voices announcing their arrival called up the stairwell. They hid in a back room for some moments then heard the crashing of furniture and glass followed by gunshots coming closer. There was only one way out of the room, a small window that would drop them to safety, away from the streets. They never blamed him. With small smiles of realization and eerily calm acceptation, the couple asked that Mei be put in Yao’s protection… that the two of them alone, escape. In the present, Yao would continue to blame himself for what had happened even though they had forgiven him.
Yao’s relationship with Kiku:

- They traveled by ship, sneaking on was not a very difficult task. When Yao made it to his destination, with Mei by his side, it was arranged that he would meet one of the members of the family at the docks and indeed he did. The family, all together, was much bigger than he had thought it to be, though there were quite a few divisions. Mei and Yao were placed together in a smaller group. For the most part, Yao took care of himself and Mei, though he was taught much by the higher-ups. He studied and learned quickly, even teaching Mei some things here and there. Another tragedy struck the family when one division was killed off, all but the boss’s son; Kiku. At the family’s meeting, they discussed where they should place him and under whose care he should be, when Yao’s smaller division offered. It was agreed that the older members would teach Yao and in turn, Yao would teach and care for the two youngest members. Some of them joked that Yao was the perfect lovely mother type, and he certainly didn’t appreciate the name, but he did care for the children as his own. Time passed and both of them grew up quickly. Yao trusted Kiku and Mei more than anyone else in the world and eventually, through many more deaths and shifts in the system, Yao became the boss of not only the division he was placed in, but the entire family. Though he was young, and his tactics were different from others, he was well respected by the entire family. He shifted the marketing sector into Kiku and Mei’s capable hands, knowing that it was a division perfect for the two of them. He is glad and proud for Mei and Kiku’s relationship, knowing that they do love each other very much and there is no other way he would prefer things to be.

Well, IN ALL TECHNICALITY~ *puts on smart people glasses and starts preaching* I can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure almost any of the mafia in Germany is actually just branches of the Italian mafia

Hmm, maybe I think Lily should stay neutral with Rod and Vash. Her most utter mission is to find and gather information for the customer, regardless of how top-secret it is ~
I have this badly temptation to have Lily work as some government official xD
She will be working in the office, interacting with all those high-class political celebrities that the ordinary will certainly have difficulty to gain access to ~ That makes her a very valuable informant in the underworld.
And if possible, I want her to have a close friendship with Neko working in the newspaper ^^~ She would secretly obtain the information in a legal way ~
And the instrumental undercover store is genius Rod ^^ Probably you would appear as the good guy, selling pianos, guitars and suchlike. Meanwhile, Lily would share the info she has gained with Vash in the dark, no one would possibly doubt she has something to do with this criminal underworld. I think we should have a special code, so when a customer cracks that code in the store, you would direct him to the inside where Vash would deal with all the guns or information dealing. And Vash should be the one that do all the dealing for us directly with our costumers, to ensure that no one would have a single thought of betrayal. Rod and Lily appears too nice and aristocratic to do with illegal deals.

Bodyguard? For Yao? I wouldn't mind doing that if you need me to. Hrm...how old is Yong going to be in this? I don't mind being his mama either, since I technically am anyway, but I'm trying to figure out my age in this. It'd be weird if I was too young, but I feel I'd have to be young enough to be physically fit and swift enough to be a guard.

In the mafia culture in australia, quite often the head of the family is the matriarch, even though there is still a boss, the matriarch can still influence her children on what they should do. They never actually fight but....they can.persuade others too. Idk if that makes sense >> but yeah. Aussie has a violent underbelly mafia culture owob well at least Melbourne did/does,
