Re: Mafia Thread! Pick your families!
Maybe this whole discussion should be moved to the Mafia section, now that we have one...
As for the section itself: I suggest following sections inside of it...
Intros of course.
A own section for every family
(Italian Family, German family, Asian family, ect...)
A harbor. (So some secret meetings can happen there in the middle of the night. ewe)
A Casino. (With hidden backrooms for stuff like illegal Poker)
Maybe the Mafia AU should have some kind of written history so everyone knows with families are related to each other or who are enemies.

Re: Mafia Thread! Pick your families!
So ... exactly how many families do we have? And should we clear out the forum again before launching this? owo
I think the boss of each family should report the family's status in the intro before the members post their own personal intros, like a summary :'D

Re: Mafia Thread! Pick your families!
Casino! No mafia is complete without a casino ewe
Hm, we have a Neutral family, an Italian family, an Asian family, the Soviet family, the Germanic family, am I missing anyone? o.o
Oh, couldn't we just put that in the intro itself? Maybe we should have a second thread for keeping track of families and their existing members. owo;;

Re: Mafia Thread! Pick your families!
You should add,
(If family) What family?:
And do we have to list our relations with people outside our family? As in, not other families as a whole, but just if we know some few people within?
Because some characters might know one or two people in a different family that their mafia has minimal or no connection to. And that doesn't even mean they know all members of that different family. owo;;

Re: Mafia Thread! Pick your families!
There will be a sector for all the families to gather and wehre the game will happen, the fact is that we need a story for that to happen, we can't just randomly start shooting everyone. So, for that what we need firstly is to make the families, that's done? Okay then the families will have to talk between each others about what will happen exactly inside them, when that is done then we'll have to deal with the main story, which I'm assuming it will be a battle between all the families.
Usually in mafia movies there's a main subject in hands. In the movie snatch all the mafia families want a piece of a rare diamond. So this needs to be discussed first of all.

Re: Mafia Thread! Pick your families!
Hmm, where would Mongolia fit in all this? Asian Family? Soviet Family? I'm thinking he doesn't get along with a lot of members in both families... perhaps he's a double agent? Only out for himself?

Re: Mafia Thread! Pick your families!
IT IS TIME FOR ME TO SHOVE MY WAY IN HERE.
I propose being in the Soviet Mafia while also being an undercover photojournalist.
For some reason Latvia running around taking pictures of things that will probably get him in trouble amuses me.
Either that or a runner of sorts if this is a American Prohibition Era sort of thing. =w=
