Re: Computer Club
Kiku looked between the boy he'd been speaking to and the newcomer.
It was a girl.
"..."
He hadn't spoken to many girls. There was this one girl that he sort of...no...not stalked...just...watched? She'd finally noticed him and he was opening up to her just a little, at least, but...
He still didn't really know what to say to girls. He hardly knew what to say to boys.
So he stayed quiet and watched the two converse, going into his usual state of silent observer.
They were going to play a game? Should he join? Should he ask? Should he just watch?
"Ano..." escaped his mouth, and then he clamped up again.
/excuses to have been silent this whole time. hurr Sorry.
It was a girl.

Re: Computer Club
Maria looked from her laptop to Kiku, he had been so quiet during her conversation with Ed, that she forgot he was there.
Maybe he wants to play, too?
"Um Kuya Kiku", he looked like an upperclassmen, so why not call him that, "you wanna play together? I don't really know anything about text based games, anyway."
Maria patted the chair next to her, smiling.
Eh, it's ok~ ^w^

Re: Computer Club
Kiku looked up at the girl as she suddenly spoke to him, and then looked away again, not wanting to stare.
"Etto...Kuya? What does that mean?" he asked her, curious about what he had been called.
He nervously made his way over to the chair, and sat on the edge of it. "Alright...if you don't really know...but it really isn't difficult," he answered her.

Re: Computer Club
Maria blinked at Kiku, processing his question,
"Oh! Sorry, Kuya means big brother in filipino, it's a sign of respect to a guy older than you.", she scratched the back of her head, embarrassed. She was used to speak filipino to other people.
"Hm, okay~ but let's play together anyway.", a character selection screen popped up, "You pick what the character should be Kuya." Maria moved out of the way so Kiku could have better access to her laptop.
Ah, okay then Ed.
And Kiku here are the races http://www.aetolia.com/races.php
Then there's a like a basic walkthrough of the game in the beginning for newbies right Ed?
If so then here's what it basically looks like http://www.aetolia.com/guides/walkthrough-intro.php
Though it's only the intro ^^;; sorry.

Re: Computer Club
Indeed though you don't have to go through the whole process specifically.

Re: Computer Club
"Alright," Eduard said as he logged into his account waiting for the others to create their characters, he had selected a race closer to the typical elf type though he was in a druid-like guild. He always liked the magic users in these types of games.
Alright.
Alright.

Re: Computer Club
"Are you sure you want me to pick?" he asked the girl. "I would lean towards Tsol'aa, but since you are new to text-based games, maybe we should do something easier, like human."
He thought over this, and hesitated. It was hard trying to think of someone else playing a character with him. He usually played by himself and only had to worry about what he liked.

Re: Computer Club
Maria shrugged, "If you wanna play as a Tsol'aa, then it's okay to me. Besides, these kind of games can't be that hard. It might be like DOTA or Warcraft.", It didn't really matter to her what he chose, she just wanted to play.
She wanted some experience in playing these types of games. So, why not start now? Besides there are two people here with her, both who know what they're doing. It can't be that bad, right?
"Lets start!"

Re: Computer Club
"Very well then, I'm in the portals to start with, to get there you would just type portal though there are instructions to help with anything..," Eduard stated matter of factly. He was about to get fully into his gaming mode, where he'd be focusing on maximizing his success in-game more than anything else.

Re: Computer Club
"Alright, if you are sure..." Kiku said and chose their character. Then he moved to type as Eduard had instructed.
He hadn't played this particular game before, but he had some some text-based, so it wasn't completely new territory.
Kiku watched the text on the computer screen, although still slightly distracted by having the girl next to him. Should he let her type?
He wasn't used to not being by himself.
