    H-He was surrounded!

Feliciano barely had a moment to sigh in relief as Adam let the cover down before he found himself surrounded by feet and legs as everyone seemed to sit down at the covered table. Now he REALLY didn't have anywhere to run! And it was hot and he was surrounded by feet, this was horrible!

The Italian tried to stay out of the way of all the legs, still desperately trying to stay out of sight and unnoticed, scooting closer to the heater underneath the table. But that only made him feel like he was going to melt! He tried hard not to burn himself on the heat source (he didn't need two burns in one day!), but there wasn't much he could do being surrounded like he was.

He just hoped that whatever everyone was doing in here they would be done with soon...ah, it was so hot, he could die! And he was hungry, would he ever get to make his noodles? Man, if only he didn't mess up Ludwig's papers, or at least found a better hiding place!

Was it just him, or was it getting harder to breathe...?

Ludwig reached out and took the teapot to fill his own, Kiku's and Adams cup with tea. The stern man always liked to be in Kiku's house. the atmosphere here was calm and organized. There were a lot of rules which made it easier to keep control over the situation in the house and how to behave yourself. He put the pot down onto the table and took his teacup with both hands, lightly blowing over it to cool it down before he sipped from the hot liquid. Even if he didn't come here for tea in the first place, it was still nice to get some of it to calm down his nerves.

"I didn't really come just to visit Kiku." The German turned to Adam. "I was only looking for Feliciano. He is possibly hiding for me, but since the food he was working on isn't finished yet, I guess he wont leave the house." Ludwig knew Feliciano would never leave half-done food unfinished. Especially not when he was cooking with Kiku.

Although not fond of tea, preferring a nice cold beer, Adam politely sipped the tea in the proper fashion. He turned to Germany when he spoke. " Why would he be hiding from you? " He asked. " Does he think he is in trouble? Or is it a game? " He found it more likely that the first question was most likely the answer. His feet twitched under the table as a form brushed past them.

Japan sipped the tea from his own cup, and thought about the possiblities of the reason Italy came here in the first place. He hadn't questioned him all that much. Italy was a spontaneous person, he tended to say and do things before thinking them through.

...But perhaps this made some sort of sense.

"I suppose Feliciano-kun probably just came here in order to run away from Ludwig-san," he said.

Feliciano tried to listen onto the conversation to get an idea of what they were talking about and what they were doing (and more importantly, when they were going to leave!), but everything was muffled into an indistinguishable hum from under the thick blanket. Why did the blanket have to be so thick? Why did the heater have to be so hot! He was going to suffocate!

He tried to stay as still as he could, holding his hands over his mouth to silence himself; even his breathing seemed too loud right now! Everything just seemed to close in on him--were everyone's feet getting closer to him? Man, it was too hot, he was getting dizzy! And it was so dark, he didn't like this place at all!

The Italian shook his head to himself, trying to will himself to calm down. I-It...it would just be for a little bit! If he could just last for a little bit...

...agh, it was so hot! He was going to pass out!

"You guys make it sound as if I am incredible scary or something." Ludwig's mood started to drop down again. "I actually have a reason to look for Feliciano and have a few words with him when I find him." He shoot Adam a annoyed glance. A game... As if he and Feliciano would play hide and seek all over the world. He had better things to do with his time.

He leaned slightly back and crossed his arms in front of his chest. "I wont kill him, don't worry." Ludwig shifted and adjusted his position by stretching his legs out under the table. This Japanese table was just to small for a tall man like him. Somehow he couldn't find a comfortable position to sit by it.

"Oh, I'm sure you do, Ludwig-san," Japan tried to explain. "I was just suddenly questioning Feliciano-kun's motive for his visit, which I hadn't when he arrived."

Japan tilted his head a bit and thought for a moment while he took another sip. "He is a silly, flighty boy. He doesn't like taking responsibility."

He smiled a bit as he said, "I never thought you would kill him."

The tea was good. It really was a shame that Italy had burned his tongue and then hidden somewhere. He really did think he would have enjoyed this one.... Oh, well. Japan would make it again for him sometime, as promised.

Adam rolled his eyes had Germany's annoyed glance. He had just been joking. The movement of the Italian by his feet had slowed somewhat. He hoped Italy was ok. It was quite warm underneath there. He needed a reason for the others to leave so he could make sure Italy was ok or at least a reason to look underneath the table.

    Uh-oh.

The Italian found himself with his arched backed against the top of the table, standing on his hands and tiptoes. Why did Ludwig have to stretch out? His legs were too long and muscly, and with him stretched out like this just made it harder for Feliciano to avoid being noticed. His arms and legs trembled from the effort, glancing back to make sure he wasn't hitting Kiku's legs either--this was getting difficult!

He could now feel the sweat beading on his forehead, every breath feeling like he was breathing in cotton. He didn't care if his tongue was burnt, he could really use some of that tea now! Or some cold ice water--ah, how he wish he had his cup of ice now!

Feliciano didn't know how long he could stay like this--his arms already felt like they were going to give out. And it was still so hot!

Ludwig shifted again, pulling up one of his legs under the table. "I just wanted to make sure you don't think the wrong things about me." He turned his knee and suddenly brushed it against something soft under the table. Frowning slightly he moved his leg back, pulling it out of the blanket. Possibly just that little Japanese dog who was sleeping under the table. Nothing worth to give a thought about it.

"Though I would have more useful things to do then spending my time waiting." he drew his other leg also back. The blanket was warmer then he had thought. Then he hid Kiku's dog again and frowned. That little animal was bigger then he had imagined it. This was weird.

Ludwig moved back, away from the table and went down onto his hands and knees. "I apologize, but I think accidentally kick something under your table Kiku. I'll just check what it was and if it is damaged." With this he grasped the edge of the blanket to lift it up and glance under the table.

Post by Honda Kiku / Japan Thu Oct 21, 2010 7:26 pm

Japan understood that Germany didn't just want to be sitting around here. He was here looking for Italy, and wanted to find him. Where was the bouncy Italian anyway...? Japan went through a mental list of all the places you could hide in his house. Then he put the ones that Italy knew about at the top.

"Kicked something?" Japan wondered aloud, thinking about what could possibly be under there. "I can't imagine what could be under there besides the heater...but perhaps Pochi is misplacing things again?" Sometimes the little dog took his toys or things he thought of as his toys under there when it was really cold. Japan didn't think he would be doing that yet, unless he did it during the night when the heater was turned off.

Wait. Japan backtracked his thoughts to before Germany said he had kicked something under the table. It couldn't possibly be...? Could it? He lifted the blanket as well.

    Owie, owie, owie!

This had to be punishment for messing up Ludwig's papers, didn't it?

No matter how much he tried to avoid the German, the man's legs just kept coming closer and closer. No matter how much he arched his back to avoid the foot, tears peaking at the corners of his eyes from the painful strain on his arms and legs from the prolonged awkward position, it seemed impossible for Feliciano to avoid Ludwig's foot kicking him right in the gut, knocking the wind out of him.

He collapsed against the ground as his arms and legs gave out and the legs finally moved, barely having a second to catch his breath before a cool rush of air blew over him.

Oh, how it was nice to be able to breath again! He thought he was going to die!

...but he might still be killed it seemed, as he cracked his eyes open and were greeted by two pairs peering under the table.

"A-Ah...c-ciao...~" The Italian replied weakly, wiping some of the sweat from his brow and giggling nervously. "I-I-I d-didn't know y-you were here, L-Ludwig~"

Ludwig couldn't believe it when he saw that sweaty Italian lying under the table, next to the warm heater. His brows furrowed into an angry expression and he reached under the table, grasping Feliciano's collar to pull him out of his hiding place.

"Feliciano..." Ludwig's voice was low as he growled at the smaller man. For a moment he forgot in who's house he was and how to behave. "When I entered my office this morning I was expecting to see it clean and organized as I had left it yesterday. Do you know what I found instead?" He didn't really wait for an answer as he pulled Feliciano closer by his collar, lowering his voice more. "I found a mess... THE WORK OF FOUR DAYS! RUINED!"

Ludwig narrowed his eyes at the Italian. "Do you know any details about how that might have happened?"

So Italy had been hiding under there after all! Before Japan could react properly, Germany had grabbed Italy by the collar. Japan pushed himself back away from the action instinctively.

He then moved to unplug the heater under the kotatsu. Italy was covered in sweat and looked like he was about to pass out. And perhaps they'd all had enough of it...

He looked up as Germany's voice rose. "Ludwig-san..." he pleaded quietly. Italy really didn't look so good...

Ah, Ludwig was mad, was really mad! He knew he would be mad! Oh man, he was going to get it! The Italian panicked, gripping his collar to ease the rough hold the German had on it, rambling for mercy.

    "Ah, m-mi dispiace, m-mi dispiace! I d-didn't me-mean to, there was a cat! And it was really cute b-but i-it got in the house a-and I d-didn't want t-the dogs t-to hurt it, so I c-chased after it a-and then i-it went in the office a-and I tripped an-and--hurk!"

Feliciano stopped mid-sentence, struck by a dizzy spell and the lurching feeling of the pasta he ate earlier trying to work it's way out of his stomach. He talked too much, and there still wasn't enough air in his lungs from his entrapment underneath the table--why was he still so hot? But he was cold too, he couldn't stop shivering!

"V-Veee...I-I don't feel so good...." Was it just him, or was the room spinning? Those stars and spots weren't normal either, were they? It felt as if his head was going to float away...and still so hot!

"A cat?" Ludwig's expression turned even more angry, his face reddened. "You know very well that I DON'T WANT cats in the house!" He gripped Feliciano's collar stronger, lightly shaking him. "Especially not in my office!"

Ludwig wanted to rant on but he noticed the other's pale face and the sweat on his forehead. He loosened his grip but still held him on his collar. "Feliciano?" The smaller man really didn't look so well. He almost passed out in Ludwig's grip.

"Kiku! I think we need some cold water." The tall man turned his head and glanced over to his Japanese friend, his expression worried. "And can you open a window?"

Japan nodded at the request for water. Finally, the German man seemed to have realized the condition of their friend. He quickly went into the kitchen to get some ice water once more. He just refilled the glass that Italy had used earlier for his burnt tongue.

He came back in with the glass and handed it over to Germany. "Give him that, Ludwig-san," he said and then went again to attend to a window.

It was so hard stay focused on Ludwig, even if the German was really angry and scary! His thoughts were fuzzy and his ears were ringing--he wasn't even really sure if he was awake or not anymore; everything felt so dreamlike.

The brunet whimpered, closing his eyes tightly. He was...still so hot! And his head hurt, and his body felt funny, and he didn't like this feeling at all...

Feliciano really wasn't sure if he was awake or not anymore, being to fade in and out of consciousness.

Ludwig took the water from Kiku with a thankful nod. Then he dropped back to sit down, pulling Feliciano into his lap. He furrowed his eyebrows, really worrying about his friend. For this moment the anger about his ruined paper work was forgotten. Ludwig needed to take care of the Italian who really didn't look that well.

"Come on. You need to drink this!" Ludwig held one arm firm around Feliciano's shoulders to support him while he held the cold glass against the other's lips to help him drink. This was so typical Felicano. Ludwig knew this man would cause him troubles and headaches every single day, until the end of his life.

Japan slid the windows open quickly and a cool breeze filled the room. He was worried about the Italian. Of all the places to hide.... To think, it was fear of getting into trouble that caused his current troubles.

    Oh Italy...

Japan came back to kneel near the pair. "Will Feliciano-kun be alright?" he asked solemnly.

It didn't take much to convince the half-conscious Italian to drink; as soon as the cool water touched his lips, Feliciano began to gulp the liquid hungrily, shivering as the much needed cold spread throughout his body. He felt better almost instantly, consciousness quickly coming back to him, the dizzy feeling calming down to a slight buzz instead of a throbbing headache.

That hadn't been fun at all!

Feliciano let out a sigh, cracking his eyes open before promptly squeezing them shut with a whine, the light not helping his headache at all. "V-Ve...my head huuurts..." At least he wasn't as nearly as hot as before, another small shiver traveling up his spine as the cool breeze blew over his hot skin.

Ludwig glanced over to Kiku and meet his eyes for a moment. Then he nodded and turned his attention back to the man in his arms. "He will be fine. Is is just a heartburn" The summer in Italy could become pretty hot, so his Italian friend was kind of used to heat. He would survive this for sure.

"Are you feeling better now?" Ludwig took the glass form Feliciano's lips and put it down onto the table. Then he reached up and touched the other's forehead to check the temperature. The skin was still hot but already better then before.

"What did you under that table?" The blond's eyebrows furrowed as he pondered his question, looking down at Feliciano with a stern expression.

Japan nodded back to Germany and watched as Italy drank the water. He seemed to be regaining more consciousness as well. That was good. Japan sighed in relief.

Pochi also seemed to be concerned at what was happening. The dog came in and placed himself between Japan and the pair of Europeans. Then he gave a single, quick bark.

Japan gave Pochi a pat and watched his friend revive. Listening as Germany asked questions.

The Italian took another deep breath, just happy for the fact that he wasn't forced to breath the hot and stale air that had been under the kotatsu. "I-I think so..." As soon as he felt that his head had finally stopped spinning, Feliciano opened his eyes, greeting the stern face focused on him with a pout.

"V-ve, m-mi dispiace! W-When...when I heard L-Ludwig come over to Kiku's house, I-I panicked! I-I didn't want Ludwig to be mad at meeee!" Of course, Ludwig had still gotten mad at him, and then he had to spend all his time under that hot table, so maybe it wasn't the best idea...but Ludwig was really scary when he was mad! He didn't like being yelled at! "I-I'm sorry, ve, really! I-I mean, I-I didn't mean to mess u-up your paperwork, I-I knew Ludwig worked really really hard on it because he wouldn't play with me at all!" Ludwig couldn't stay mad at him could he? Unless he made him run laps, that would be really bad!

"U-Um, but! I-I was making food with Kiku, so I-I could make Ludwig something to eat to make up for ruining your paperwork, ve!" The brunet tilted his head back and fixed the Japanese man with a pleading glance, hoping for some sort of support. He didn't want to get yelled at more!
