Feliciano buried his tongue in his cup, whining still. Man, this wasn't fun at all! He just wanted to visit his friend (well, that and not get in trouble with Ludwig, but that was a different story!), and now he had to hurt himself! He sucked a piece of ice into his mouth, curious to where Kiku had gotten off to. There had been a knock at the door, right?

He retraced the smaller man's step to the front door, seeing a new face in the entryway.

"Hadam! Hiao!" The Italian spoke through the ice in his mouth, smiling and waving at the man at the door. He let the cube slide out of his mouth and back into the cup, walking up to stand next to the Asian, looking down at him with a smile. "I didn't know you were going to have company today, Kiku! Are you having a party? We should make more udon, then!"

Ludwig arrived at Kiku's house and sighed before he reached out to ring the bell.
Hopefully his Japanese friend would know where he could find Feliciano.
The Italian had messed up all his paperwork. Ludwig had worked four days hard on the protocol of the last G8 meeting only to find all his papers messed up and spread out all over his desk and office when he wanted to finish it today.
The tall man had called Lovino, Francis and Elizabeta in his search for Feliciano. He was rather annoyed that he couldn't contact Kiku over phone and so he had to visit him and ask personally if the older man knew where he could find his currently useless brunet friend.

Now he just crossed his arms and waited for someone to answer the bell.

Just as Adam had entered the front room, the doorbell behind him rang loud in his ears. "Do ya mind If I answer that mate? " He asked of Japan. Without waiting for an answer he opened the door. It was Germany. The thought occurred to him, all the Axis in one house? Were they perhaps gonna have a meeting and he was intruding? He pondered this thought.

Ludwig lifted an eyebrow in confusion. He had not expected to see Adam here. But since he had opened the door he have him a stern nod as greeting.
"Good evening." Ludwig looked over the other's shoulder seeing if he could get a glance into the house. "I was actually looking for Kiku."

Turning his glance towards Adam again he continued. "I guess he is home?" Obviously Kiku must be here. Ludwig knew he would never let someone stay over in his house alone when he was not home. Especially not a careless person as Adam.

Japan's jaw dropped as he heard the bell. Another visitor? Really? He really needed to check the newspapers and see if there was some kind of announcement to come and bother him today.

Before he could put his thoughts in order, Australia answered his door for him. And he heard Germany's voice coming from the door.

He peeked around Australia to see. "Ludwig-san? You are here as well?" He blinked several times.

By the way, Ludwig, it's not in common use really, so I wouldn't have expected you to know this - but brunet is the word you use to refer to a male. Brunette refers to females. On a related note, for reference, blonde is also female, and blond is the male of that. They are pronounced pretty much identically.

Hearing Kiku's voice made ludwig perk up. "Ah Kiku. I thought you would be home." He took a step forward, greeting the Japanese man also with a nod.
"I was trying to call you but nobody answered so I had to come over." Ludwig sighed. He was already slightly annoyed because of his paperwork and now he had to deal with other nations in person.

"My business is serious. I am looking for Feliciano. Obviously he seems to hide from me. Maybe you have seen him recently?" Ludwig crossed his arms, waiting for an answer.

Post by Feliciano Vargas/Italy Thu Oct 14, 2010 9:00 pm

Another voice sounded from the doorway, a voice he knew well. Ludwig came to visit too! Kiku must be having a party! Feliciano should've made more noodles, then! He would just have to roll more out, and then they could all spend time together! It would be fun!

He froze as he took a step toward the door, the glee of having the blond here replaced by dread.

Wait...wasn't there a reason he came to Kiku's house in the first place, besides wanting to see his friend? As soon as the warning crossed his mind, the voice confirmed his fears. Uh-oh. Ludwig was looking for him. And Ludwig sounded mad.

Burnt tongue forgotten, the Italian slowly began backing away from the commotion, back into the house. At least it seemed that Ludwig hadn't noticed him yet, so he was still safe! But...he couldn't be found, Ludwig would kill him!

Feliciano began to fret and panic, finding himself in the kitchen again. He had to hide, somewhere to hide! Just until Ludwig gave up looking for him! He didn't want to get hit, or worse, have to run laps or something! "V-ve...!" The Italian looked around frantically, setting his water down on the counter before darting farther into Kiku's house, looking desperately for somewhere to hide. There had to be somewhere, right? Somewhere like a closet or something?

The Italian found himself in the living room, staring down at the funny warm tables Kiku had at his house. He could hide under there, maybe no one would find him there! So, Feliciano dove, sliding and wiggling under the kotatsu until he was out of sight, huddled and trembling as he began his wait.

Adam gave a nod in reply to Germany's. He could be as serious as the other nation if he wished, who like many of the european nations had an air of nobleness around them, as if they felt superior to everyone else. Take Austria for example, or Arthur. Adam wasn't fond of people who felt that being relaxed and carefree wasn't something a nation should be. So he gave a grim smile and went of in search of Italy, wondering why the Italian nation would be hiding from the German one. Weren't they friends?

"Yes, Feliciano-kun is here," Japan answered. "But why is he hiding from you?" There was a pause, as he considered the past, and then added, "This time?"

He noticed Australia retreat farther into the house. Searching for the person in question, perhaps?

"I do have some tea prepared...I'd hate for it to go to waste..." Japan considered and came to the conclusion that if Italy wasn't found soon, he would eventually come out for food. He sighed.

Ludwig frowned at Kiku. So Feliciano was here? Then it was good that the German had come over personally. He could direct get the useless Italian here to make him pay for the ruining of his papers.

"Yes, I would like tea, thank you. And I would like to have a few words with Feliciano but you don't need to worry, it is just a thing between him and me." He took a step closer, forcing down his anger for now. Ludwig was used to be polite towards Kiku. Not only that the man was older, he also seem to have this noble aura. "If I am allowed to come in, I would like to meet Felicano here."

@Adam: Opening the door of someone else's house to answer the bell and then walking through it and searching for something, possibly even in private areas, does count as pretty careless and rude in Germany. So for Germany Australia is a pretty careless person.

As Adam approached the area he was sure he had heard Feliciano's voice a little earlier, he now heard nothing at all. The room was empty . The next nearest room was the living room, at least thats what he assumed it was. In the centre of the room was a kotatsu. The italian was nowhere to be seen. An expert tracker, Adam searched the floor for some clue to where the other nation might have gone. But Adam didn't need tracks for him to know the most obvious place for Italy to hide was underneath the warm table. He tentatively lifted up one of the sides, not wishing to startle the other nation.

Japan bowed and stepped back. "Of course you are allowed to come in, Ludwig-san," he told Germany. "I apologize."

He started heading a bit toward the kitchen, but he hadn't gotten very far when he stopped and turned. "Feliciano-kun was in the kitchen the last I saw him. Perhaps it would be a good place to start, even if he has moved on. And the tea is there regardless, which you would be welcome to."

Adam - did you take of your shoes or leave them on? This bit of knowledge is important to how Japan will react the next time he sees you.

The German had still a stern expression set up as he entered the house and closed the door behind him. His mind was already working on how he could scold Feliciano without breaking the calm aura of Kiku's house. Ludwig changed from his shoes to the guest slippers and followed behind the Japanese man into the kitchen.

"You were cooking together?" That fact was actually something to look forward to. Kiku and Feliciano had always made really delicious food together. And Ludwig knew they would share with him. As they had always used to do.
Feliciano was obviously not in the kitchen anymore. But Ludwig knew the Italian would not let half-done food go for a waste and come out soon to finish cooking it. All Ludwig had to do was waiting for him.

"Yes. Or rather, Feliciano-kun had started to cook, and I was preparing tea," Japan explained. "Since the food would take longer than the tea, we were going to have tea first, and finish making the food together afterwards, but it seems Feliciano-kun temporary forgot that tea is hot and burnt his tongue."

While he was speaking - entirely in one, even tone - Japan retrieved more cups from the cabinet and set them down.

"Would you like some?" he asked politely.

Oh man, oh man...It was so hot underneath this blanket!

The Italian felt like he was melting a bit, pulling at his collar and fanning himself--why did his hiding space have to be so unbearably hot? But he couldn't leave now, not until he knew Ludwig was away! He didn't want to get scolded again, Ludwig was scary when he was angry!

Feliciano could've jumped out of his skin with a light pierced his eyes as the blanket was lifted, hugging his legs to his chest and looking on with tears in his eyes--oh Dio, he had been found! But it seemed that the perpetrator was merely Adam, the Australian fixing him with a curious glance.

"Sshh! Shush, d-d-don't t-t-tell a-anyone I'm h-here! V-vee!" The Italian put a finger to his lip as he whispered desperately, flailing his other arm to get his point across. "P-per favore, per favore, Adaaaaam!"

Ludwig listened to Kiku and sighed at the fail of his Italian friend. The situation was annoying and tiresome, but on the other hand it lead him to spend some time here at Kiku's house to have tea and possibly some food later too.

"Thank you." The blond nodded at the other man and turned around to leave the kitchen. "I will wait in the living room for Feliciano to come out from wherever he is hiding."
Ludwig left the kitchen and crossed the hallway to enter the living room. He stopped in the doorway at the sight of Adam bend over the table, peeking under the warm blanket.

"Adam?" He lifted an eyebrow in confusion. "What are you doing there?"

"You are welcome," Japan responded to Germany's thank you. He nodded his head as Germany said he would be in the living room and turned to put the teapot and some cups to take in with him.

Hmmm...should they use the kotatsu table, or was it still too warm for that? He pondered this as he followed after Germany.

The whisper caught in his throat and the Italian froze as another voice spoke up in the room. Ludwig! Oh no, what if he saw him? He couldn't even run and try to find another hiding spot anymore, what was he going to do?

The Italian shook his head furiously, putting a finger to his lip and and flailing his arm as much as the cramped space allowed, trying to motion to Adam to not tell Ludwig! Oh, he was going to be in so much trouble!

"Sorry mate! " He grinned sheepishly at Ludwig. " Dropped my phone, was just picking it up, it went underneath this table thing. " Even though Adam knew clearly what it was, he tended to downplay his knowledge and intelligence, by either using slang, incorrect grammar when speaking or . It was a remnant of the convict days and even modern day australian culture and Adam just preferred it that way, he thought if it like it was a game.

"So! Seems like we both had the right idea, eh? Come and our old mate Kiku!" He grinned and placed his arm around Germany, in a friendly manner. " We better go with Kiku here and have a cuppa, shouldn't we? "

"Etto...would you like to have the tea in here?" he asked them. "Hopefully Feliciano-kun will turn up. If not, we can go look for him afterward." He paused, tilting his head. "No one knows this house better than I do."

That last comment was so true someone could perhaps make a joke about it. No one knew this house better than Japan, and Japan knew nothing better than this house. He certainly spent enough time in it.

Ludwig scowled at Adam and roughly entangled his arms from his own body, shoving him a way. "I already agreed with Kiku to have tea in the living room." He took a few strong steps back from Adam's awkward affections and sat down onto the floor in front of the table, crossing his legs.

Kiku came in with the tea and Ludwig turned his head towards him. "I am sure Feliciano will appear once he gets bored in his hiding place, wherever that is." The German grasped one edge of the blanket and tugged it over his crossed legs. Only to his knees, not until his lap. Warm feet were nice, but to warm was not good at all.

Adam frowned. He had been only trying to be friendly and distract Kiku and Germany from the italian under the table. What was the german's problem anyway, why was he so rude? It could be worry for Feliciano, or just plain rudeness, he wasn't sure which. He sighed and sat opposite Ludwig at the table, stretching his back before he did so, as Ludwig's rough disentanglement wasn't a painless one.

Japan looked between the two other nations briefly before setting the tea down on the kotatsu table. He decided that they actually had a pretty good idea just putting in their feet. It was still a bit warm to be covering ones lap completely with it, but chilly enough to want it for extremities.

So even though it was not his normal sitting position, he tucked his feet in as well.
