Katyusha had only just realized what was going to happen when it DID, and was now all of the sudden pinned to the ground with a smiling Matthew above her. Her heart had lept into her throat and for a moment, she felt helpess underneath him. That helpless left her in a brief moment of fear, but it was quickly forgotten when he leaned down and teased her.
She couldn't help the blush that rised on her cheeks, but she definitely wasn't done yet. They'd done this before, they'd do it again. Even so she bit her lip shyly, locking her gaze with his.
"Gee, sir, I-I'm sorry. You know I didn't mean it, right?" As much as she wanted to sound flirtatious, her voice came out small and meek. Smooth. Very smooth.
She wiggled her hands out of his grip, which wasn't surprisingly tight, but didn't move back just yet. Quickly sticking them in the snow above her head, she raised them Matthew's collar and snaked her hands under the material.
Another successful snowy infiltration!
Laughter bubbled from her again and she wriggled out from under him, blushing up a storm none the less. Pain shot up her leg and she winced a little, but she quickly found her bearings and gathered up another pile of snow.
Time to get serious!
Their little bout continued until the both of them were snow-soaked, clothes and hair. In the end - unlike last time - Matthew had tackled her again and she was too caught up in catching her breath to fight back. With one last attempt to win their little 'battle', she pushed on his chest as to get away but collapsed into giggles instead.
"Y-You win, Matvey." She smiled sheepishly up at him, her shy nature having returned and ignoring the pain in her leg from their scrambling about. He'd gotten better since they're last snowfight; surprising, but motivational for her to get better.
