Alfred sighed as he gathered up his papers, feeling both tired and proud of himself. The former because he’d had to get up reeeally early today for a meeting, one that had just finished, in fact, but he’d barely gotten any sleep due to having to look after Tony who’d caught some weird variation of the common cold and had been sneezing up green gunk all night long. And the latter, because said meeting had been held in his very own country, meaning that he’d been the one in charge of it. He’d taken it really seriously today too and had shown everyone this very awesome and professional looking slide show on global warming and carbon emissions and such.
Now though, that was all over and Alfred could finally relax! First thing he did was drop by his office that was conveniently in the very building the meeting had been in, dropping all his papers and notes in there, before slipping out of that nasty and stuffy suit and into something much more comfortable, mainly, a pair of cream cargo pants, a long red skivvy with marron stripes, a puffy blue vest with a pair of sunglasses on his head, Texas resting in his pocket and a pair of red, white and blue converse sneakers.
As he left the building he wondered what he should do now. Kiku and Arthur had a meeting to attend together tomorrow and were off to catch a flight to Japan. Maria was out on a date with Carlos. Matthew had said something about having to do something with politics or something. This didn’t leave him with a lot of options. Alfred had been thinking of just heading home before he spotted a familiar face sitting on a bench not far from him.
He ran towards them, before throwing them into a tight but well meaning hug. “Kat~! I didn’t know you were still here~ I thought you’d be out doing something with Mattie or heading back home~”
