    Bittersweet Empty Bittersweet

Post by Convidad Fri Aug 19, 2011 3:42 am

Sadiq hummed lightly to himself as he changed, getting on some cooler clothes to wear for once. He normally was fine with the heat, but he planned on going dancing in a while and heavy clothes were a no-no.

"Ah~ much better~" he purred, now in flowy white pants with various jewel decorations on them. There were even a few small feathers and bells, that swayed almost hypnotically when he danced or even moved in general. The Turk's top was only really a couple of sleeves for his arms, with an open back and chest while the sides of it clung to his ribs and hips, hiding nothing of his torso.

The nation purred a bit to himself, already excited about later that night. He hadnt let himself go dancing in such a long time. Now the only thing left was his mask, which he was only slightly hesitant to remove. Once it was off though, he laughed, eyes twinkling.

Raivis didn’t know why he was here. Or where here was in the first place. He was quite hopelessly lost, to tell the truth. With a sigh, he plopped himself down on a bench. Wherever he was, it was definitely hot. And dry. The Middle East, maybe? He’d figure it out eventually. For now, he was going to sit here and rest.

With his chin resting on his hands, Raivis looked about. It was starting to get late… Oh dear, he really needed to figure out where he was. It wasn’t like he could call Caesar and ask for the older man to come retrieve him from some unknown location.

Hopefully he would see someone he recognized, however unlikely that was.

The sun was just beginning to set as Sadiq made his way towards the dance bar. He had chosen that place for his occasional dancing excursions because it was close, and it had beer. Not to mention that all the girls there were pretty and sweet.

Turkey smiled happily as he walked, loving the soft barely heard chimes the bells on his pants made. It was a sound that he loved and made him feel relaxed. The nation paused though when he caught sight of a small figure in the distance, hunched while sitting on a bench.

Sadiq frowned, feeling that the young looking kid seemed familiar. The boy was obviously a tourist though. But being in such a place, ecspecially as night fell, was dangerous.

Right on cue he noticed a group of men moving towards the kid. Turkey frowned and silently followed them, not willing to let such a defenseless child be kidnapped and possibly raped when he could do something about it.

Raivis looked up as a shadow settled over his hunch form. A group a shady men stared down at him jeering. "You alone, kid?" One asked, leaning down closer to the boy's face. In response, Raivis shrank away, shaking in fear as he did so.

"P-P-Please g-g-go away..." He stuttered out, avoiding eye contact with the creep. All that gained him were some boisterous laughs.

"Alone? Now why would we leave a cute kid like you alone? It can get dangerous around here at night." The man who appeared to be the ring leader only leaned in closer to the shaking boy, obviously enjoying the fear. "Who knows? You could get kidnapped and killed. Or... Worse." A large grin lit his face as he reached out to grab the Latvian's shoulder, earning a terrified flinch in response. "Now, let's go before I have to hurt you, hm?"

All Raivis could manage to do was whimper fearfully in response, frozen with terror and really wishing he had called Caesar at the first sign of getting lost.

The thugs around the kid were now pissing Sadiq off. He could tell what sleazebags like this were after and it didnt make him happy. Instead of sneaking up on them he suddenly called out loudly to get attention.

"Oi~ You guys found him! Thanks so much~ I've been looking for my cute cousin all over" he grinned, although it was fake. And his words were obviously lies.

Turkey just walked up to them anyway, the bells on his clothes chiming like a death bell. He kept up the fake smile and act though, barely keeping himself from hurting them.

'Wait a minute...isnt that the little Latvian?' he thought, relizing that he HAD recogized the kid. Now he was even more pissed at these brats.

It took a moment, but Raivis finally raised his face to his savior. "M-Mister S-S-Sadiq?" He questioned, truly shocked about the outcome.

Well, at least that solved the mystery of where he was.

The group of men turned then, taking up the Turk. It didn't take more than a second for them to realize that yes, he was huge. After sharing a look, the two men backed off. "You're lucky we don't have the rest of the gang with us, bitch." They muttered, giving the two one last glare before sauntering off.

With that, Raivis stood up, blushing at the Turk's attire. "Th-Thank you..." He stuttered, looking down at the ground and fidgeting with the hem of his shirt.

Sadiq glared after them as they ran away before turning to Latvia.

"Raivis...What are you doing here?" he asked, concerned. The kid was way to defenseless to just be wondering around. Turkey leaned down to look at him closer, not minding how he was dressed, although he wished he had his mask on.

    "You alright?"

With a nod, Raivis stood from his spot on the bench, taking a small step away from the Turk in an effort to maintain his personal bubble. "I g-got l-lost.." He murmured, an embarrassed blush lighting his face. He really needed to work on improving his sense of direction.

"I"m f-fine, thank you." Raivis stated, fidgeting as he continued to stare at the ground. The way Sadiq was dressed at the time made it nearly impossible for him to look up without turning into a stuttering mess, something he did not wish to be reduced to at the moment.

The Turk sighed a bit and leaned back, looking up at the fast darkening sky. "Ah....Its gettin' late." he commented before looking down at the small shivering figure.

"Its too late fer you to go wondering around. Someone will kidnap or rape ya. Come stay with me for the night." It wasnt a request. He wasnt going to have the kid's fate on his concience if the Latvian kept wondering around.

Raivis was honestly surprised at how late it was getting. He hadn't even noticed how dark the sky was suddenly growing. "O-Okay..." He said, not at all sure that he should be staying with a stranger even though said stranger was a fellow country. "C-Could I use your phone, then? I d-don't want anyone to g-get worried about me."

After a moment, Raivis stole a tiny peek at his companion. His curiosity was simply getting the better of him. "W-Why are you d-d-dressed l-like that?" A squeak almost escaped him as he realized that he had just actually asked what was on his mind. It wasn't too bold, was it? He prayed that the Turk wouldn't get mad at him for his question and just leave him there on the streets. Being stuck in a park of the country so far from his home wasn't a situation he wanted to get stuck in.
